A sculptural exploration using technology to enhance,
rather than eradicate traditional mediums.

Having learned the relationship between digital and analog sculpting, I believe that we are beginning to lose the value in making things by hand, resorting to digital mediums, that can do things better and faster. To explore this transition, I sought to share a side where both methods coexist and build off from one another. Carving out a series of forms by hand first, I then 3D scanned the pieces, digitized their meshes, and modified them into various different textures and styles. With these physical pieces, I wanted to explore and push the limits of what could be done with things we physically produce, and through technology be able to unwind the possibilities that exist in the world today.
